It takes something special to drive the development and implementation of new and exciting products and services. That’s a job for our Services Project and Program Management team within Professional Services. The team works closely with sales, customer service, partners, customers and other technical support groups in cross-functional teams. Together, they manage the lifecycle of highly complex, high risk projects - from design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successful delivery of complex, high risk Cloud & HCI programs and projects. Maintains program/project quality, finances and focus.
  • Establishment of program/project governance and attainment of Dell Technologies and customer stakeholders acceptance, agreement and/or buy-in as appropriate.
  • Quality Assurance; ensure program/project is delivered to scope defined within SOW and ensure any deviations are processed via defined Change Control process.
  • Build and maintain team identity, morale and purpose across diverse matrixed delivery resources assigned to complete program/project work while driving to established schedule and timeline.
  • Identification, documentation and timely communication of any risks, issues or roadblocks to schedule, milestones, key deliverables and program/project finances.

Essential Requirements

  • Ability to thrive in high pressure situations and clarify vague needs into discrete actions and deliverables while maintaining scope integrity.
  • PMP Certification
  • Hybrid Cloud and/or Hyper Converged Infrastructure project management experience
  • Microsoft Project expertise
  • Ability to travel up to 75% if needed
  • Typically requires 15+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12+ years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8+ years experience; or equivalent experience 

Desirable Requirements

  • Agile Certified Practitioner
  • Application Development program/project management experience
  • P&L management experience
  • Microsoft Sharepoint expertise
