Dell’s CTO team hires some of the brightest and most talented engineers and technologists in the industry and new we are seeking a candidate who brings a blend of outside in thinking and drive innovation into our products and peripheral devices.
This role will be part of a team of highly motivated system architects who are responsible for defining the future vision of client architectures and solutions for Dell client products. You will be responsible for working closely with technologists, other architects, product marketing, procurement and experience design engineers to define and implement features that enable a differentiated and compelling set of products and peripherals which are part of Dell’s cutting edge PC portfolio.
•Responsible for driving new hardware and software technologies & experiences and drive adoption within the client PC products. Must have ability to comprehend a broad array of hardware and software technologies.
•Takes the lead in shaping future products definition and customer experiences.
•Analyze new technologies, summarize, and present technical and non-technical audiences
•Self-motivated and Self driven with minimal direction from leadership
•Generates IP including multiple invention disclosures per year
•Understand and communicate industry trends and drive direction for the client portfolio products as appropriate.
•Provide strategic direction to the planning, system architects across our products portfolio
•Additional duties may include leading incubation teams, developing implementation guidelines, architecture definition documentation
•Ownership of multiple highly complex technologies
Experience and Qualifications
•Requires 10+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree in EE or CE
•Hardware, Software, FW, and PC systems architecture and development process experience.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Ability to create and analyze PC architectural and product specifications.
•Strong organization skills.
