We are seeking passionate and ambitious 2020 or 2019 college graduates with a desire to build a career within the technology industry to join us as part of our Product Management and Corporate Systems Engineering rotation program. The PM/CSE organization is a critical component of the Dell EMC storage business to drive focus and accelerate the delivery of our leading technologies and solutions. This includes understanding and rapidly responding to market requirements, effectively planning and developing future innovations, and leveraging the power of the industry’s most complete storage portfolio.

Successful applicants will participate in three 6-month rotations with the Dell EMC storage division. While participating in the program, team members will: experience challenging and diverse rotation opportunities, receive ongoing training and development, and build relationships and gain exposure across the storage division’s Product Management and Corporate System Engineering organization. Upon completion of the 18-month rotation program, team members will be placed in permanent roles within the PM/CSE organization.

Summary:

The PM/CSE role is responsible for the cross-functional management of products or solutions through their entire lifecycle. This includes a thorough analysis and communication of the markets and requirements to ensure effective product strategies. The role also involves representing Dell EMC as a subject matter expert for internal and external meetings, customer/user presentations, product events, and partner/ecosystem discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing business plans for key product features
  • Gather requirements from customers, partners and field personnel
  • Work closely with engineers to define product functionality
  • Work closely with customers to test, validate and refine product functionality
  • Develop and communicate regular updates regarding project status and/or issues
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on product strategies to accelerate revenue and increase market share

Essential Requirements:

  • Business BS, MS, or MBA degree or significant business/program management experience
  • Experience developing strategic plans related to information technology
  • Desire to work closely with customers and engineering developers

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with data center information technology
  • Knowledge of storage infrastructure technology
  • Program management skills using defined product lifecycle methodologies
