In this highly visible role, you will be leading the tools transformation for the engineering.  You'll play a significant role in improving product quality by driving DevOps principles such as automating processes, continuous integration, deployment and testing.   We value your creativity and innovation in developing solutions to difficult problems. 

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and drive transformation and modernization of tools suites used by engineering organization

-Gather requirements and define solutions to transitions tools while ensuring business continuity

-Understand the complex integration and business rules of the tools in the day-to-day operations for delivery

-Identify, plan and execute tools migration and transition plans

-Collaborate with other organizations to align tools directions and drive common plans

-Communicate plans, progress, and impediments to senior leadership teams

Essential Requirements:

-Expertise with Source Code Management tools – specifically Perforce, GIT (GitHub)

-Deep experience in build/release engineering and artifact management tools – Jenkins, Bamboo, Jfrog Artifatory

-Strong (10+ years) experience in engineering requirements, development and test tools – JIRA, Bugzilla, Code review tools, Static and Dynamic Code Coverage tools

-Excellent programming and scripting skills in multiple languages – including C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Bash, Perl, Python, PHP, Ruby, etc.

-Strong project management and leadership skills – lead across teams and organizations

-Excellent written and verbal communications skills – communicate to engineers, managers, and senior leadership

-12+ years related experience plus BS or 8+ years plus MS or 5+ years plus PhD or related experience

Desired Requirements:

-Self-starter to learn complex systems

-Experience in Web Technologies and frameworks, such as HTML5, Angular/ AngularJS, JQuery, and CSS; development experience on LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP/Perl/Python) stack

-Familiar with virtual environments – VMWare, KVM, etc.

-Experience in agile methodologies and software development lifecycles
