Key Responsibilities:

  • This role will support the global services planning methodology, parameters setting, solution development, implementation, and testing. 
  • The Project Program Manager will focus on supporting the global parts planning application implemented for the Global Service Parts (GSP) organization. 
  • The GSP Organization consists of procurement, forecasting, repair, reporting, inventory optimization and management of the supply chain for service parts and warranty events. 
  • This role provides configuration and technical support for the business and through the planning application Servigistics, specifically Service Parts Management. 
  • This individual must have experience in planning, forecast methodology, inventory optimization, planning system configuration, and reverse logistics for service parts used in warranty events. 
  • In this role the individual will also interact as a "business liaison” to the Dell IT organizations. 
  • Some of those tasks include gathering business requirements to create a Business Requirements Document, create a solution based on the BRD, implement the designed solution, providing user acceptance testing, development of CBA’s, and participating in deployments. 

Essential Requirements

  • Must possess strong communication skills and work well in a strong project oriented work style with the ability to engage cross culturally, globally and maintain multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Candidate should have good writing and analytical skills, demonstrated project management abilities, experience within a services supply chain, and creating software solutions.
  • Knowledge of Dell’s Service Supply Chain and SQL Server knowledge is a plus along with having a Lean Certification or Green Belt BPI certification. 
  • 6 to 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management; or 6 to 8+ years with an MBA or  Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management
