Sr Advisor Product Manager, RSA NetWitness Platform


Location: Northern Virginia (Reston)

The RSA NetWitness Platform is an evolved SIEM – the centerpiece of an intelligent Security Operations Center (SOC) -- that provides end-to-end visibility across an organization’s digital ecosystem that spans networks, transactions, applications, identities and user behaviors. Engineered to immediately detect high-risk threats on devices, in the cloud and across your virtual enterprise, RSA NetWitness Platform also optimizes security response processes to reduce attacker dwell time and make analysts more efficient and effective.

This role is responsible for two key parts of the RSA NetWitness Platform:

  • RSA NetWitness Endpoint –  Work closely with two other Product Manager to define RSA’s Endpoint strategy, triage and prioritize a backlog of product enhancements to be built and evangelize the product’s capabilities with customers, internal stakeholders, and industry analysts
  • RSA NetWitness Foundations – Work closely with two other Product Managers to build a set of foundational capabilities that can be leveraged across the Portfolio.   This specific role will be responsible for System and Application Monitoring, Auditing, Authentication, and management of dynamic content (reports, parsers, threat signatures)


Showcasing excellence and innovation at every stage, Product Management is responsible for the cross-functional management of products or solutions through their entire lifecycle. Using a wealth of technical and industry experience, we work across functional areas to implement our products or solutions. We undertake thorough analysis of the markets to ensure we maximize profitability and adjust our product strategies to respond to competition. Our role also involves acting as subject matter experts for internal and external product events or partner meetings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualifies opportunities for new product features and functions in support of competitive product positioning and improvements to customer experience
  • Work closely with Engineering on prioritized features to ensure they are designed and built in a way that meets customers and the market needs.
  • Evangelize RSA NetWitness Platform through RSA’s User Community, Social Media, Webinars and short videos.
  • Meet with customers to evangelize product vision, understand needs and resolve customer concerns as needed.
  • Collaborate with RSA’s Incident Response, Advanced Cyber Defense and SE organizations to solicit contributions to enhance the Analyst experience specific to Endpoint use cases.  
  • Recruit and manage design partner customers to guide future investments and product development efforts.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experienced at leading and collaborating with a team of engineers as a Product Manager to build product together.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new security technologies and customer use cases.
  • Experience with SIEM / Threat Detection / SOAR products
  • Technical Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Bachelor of Science in CS, Computer Engineering or related fields.
  • Some travel is required; Average should be < 20%.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
