We are seeking a passionate and seasoned Manager with experience leading teams in the timely development of innovative, customer driven solutions.  You will be working on a product that organizations worldwide depend on to detect, investigate, and take targeted action against tomorrow’s most sophisticated cyber attacks.  Your work will help security operations centers across the planet protect their organizations from tomorrow’s most sophisticated cyber attacks.  You’ll work with some of best and brightest minds and have fun doing it! 


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a talented Software Engineering organization to deliver innovative, high quality products on a foundation of architectural and engineering excellence in one of the largest online retailers in the world.
  • Provide leadership and mentor in engineering best practices, including agile development methodologies, service architectures, and design patterns.

  • Responsible for ensuring stability and performance of the products are best in class. This includes accountability for performance, availability management and capacity planning.

  • Lead the implementation of rigorous engineering excellence process and platform improvement initiatives.

  • Responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems for several programs and projects.

  • Communicate and translate vision/strategy to staff. Responsible for executing on functional and business goals for the group.

  • Passionate about the customer experience, and ensure every visit is a great experience for the User.

  • Interfaces with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs and technical knowledge.


Essential Requirements

  • 8+ year of experience leading engineering teams in the design & development of high quality enterprise level products in JAVA/J2EE technology stacks

  • Relevant experience in web technology i.e. JAVA, Spring, UI framework (Angular JS/EXT JS/EMBER JS etc), Mongo DB

  • Ability to lead multiple simultaneous product development efforts and programs.

  • Strong organizational planning and development, business judgment, technical leadership, and communication skills

  • Working knowledge of end-user/customer experience

  • An analytical mind that thrives in a data-driven environment Experience in windows w

  • Proven experience and success working in an Agile environment

  • Good communication and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to drive accurate and timely decisions.

  • Mentoring/Coaching skills.

  • Presentation skills.
