Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing Operations

VMware’s Global Marketing Operations Organization is looking for a strong, seasoned professional responsible for managing and driving operational support for our newly formed integrated marketing teams.

VMware marketing is in the midst of a strategic transformation in terms of organization and the way it goes to market. This position will play a critical role in supporting that transformation through providing operational guidance to bring business strategy to market. You will have the opportunity to define and build operational processes to help scale the integrated marketing organization to support VMware becoming a $20B company. You will act as the single point of contact in marketing and marketing operations driving key projects across campaign strategy, lead management, reporting and more in support of the integrated marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Enable the integrated marketing strategy through providing operational insight and support on campaign strategy & operations, lead management, and reporting
  • Provide guidance to marketing on program optimization in terms of campaign architecture and lead management enhancements
  • Help define and improve processes integrated marketing uses throughout its go to market motion
  • Develop the appropriate operating model between marketing, marketing operations and key partners in IT and data management to execute marketing strategy
  • Lead projects across marketing operations, IT, and data management to deliver on business requirements
  • Provide clear and timely communication regarding operational project status to relevant stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement in operations through regular analysis of root cause challenges and remediation plan development and implementation
  • Analyze and track program metrics and trends to evaluate success of marketing strategy and provide insights back to the integrated marketing team
  • Represent operations in various cross-functional forums and publish periodic status reports
  • Conduct post project reviews and provide analysis and insights to relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 10 years of relevant marketing operations and program management experience running small to large programs
  • Experience managing programs across Eloqua, Marketo and SFDC preferred
  • A strong track record of developing and maintaining highly collaborative cross-functional relationships and a demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and possess strong leadership and troubleshooting abilities
  • A history of performance excellence with a great balance of big-picture thinking and detailed execution
  • Previous experience establishing processes and standards
  • Strong presentation and presentation design skills
