It takes something special to drive the development and implementation of new and exciting products and services. That’s a job for our Services Project and Program Management team within Dell Technologies Services. The team works closely with sales, Presales, customer service, partners, customers and other support groups in cross-functional teams. Together, they manage the lifecycle of Modern Deployment solutions, critical customer projects - from design to delivery.

We are looking for a Nordic Project Manager to join our team in Stockholm or Oslo and play a key role in the evolution of Dell.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a Single Point of Accountability for his End User Computing (EUC) customer projects.
  • Liaise with appointed Dell relationship customers to determine their exact Deployment needs, including Imaging and any other needs for their IT or end-user project requirements and deployment needs. Meaning to visit customers, presenting all the EUC Deployment capabilities and the EUC offerings portfolio, in order to capture all the customer requirements in term of Hardware integrations and deployment, Imaging integrations and asset management services etc. In addition, determine any other data relevant to the Deployment, meaning the Dell EMC logistics of the roll-out including dates for completion, volumes etc.
  • Liaise directly with engineering Project contacts, ensuring they have a thorough knowledge of the requirements as laid out in the Technical Spec. in conjunction with spec. validation and liaise with Deployment partner and the customer in relation to field issues. Analyze and communicate to partners and quality team and work to determine root-cause and fastest possible fix, for minimum impact on project roll-out.
  • Ascertain cost and lead time for validated projects and communicate quotation to Sales team and validate first pass production unit with customer and attain written sign-off to enable mass production.
  • Identify changes in integration market and any competitive advantage which would be beneficial to incorporate into the EUC service portfolio.

    Essential Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent qualification in an associated field is preferred.
  • A flexible, self-motivated and goal oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, oral and presentation (English).
  • Excellent knowledge of P.C architecture and peripherals is essential and intimate knowledge of P.C operating systems, in particular Microsoft Operating Systems and a good knowledge of business s/w applications is essential
  • Fluent language skills in Sweden/Norwegian and English
