Key Responsibilities

Your objective will be to drive growth across a portfolio of development or acquisition accounts within the UK Schools vertical to achieve targets. You will be expected to build strong customer relationships and keep abreast of market trends to develop and execute strategies that deliver high value solution focused sales. The role will involve:

  • Responsible for the management of opportunities, increasing account penetration, customer satisfaction and sales growth within assigned accounts with a focus on the Public Sector vertical
  • Selling Dell’s portfolio of technology solutions; server, storage, networking, software, security and managed services
  • Leading territory or regional account management, including account planning and sales forecasting and engaging cross-functional resources
  • Advising customers on strategic business and technology solutions
  • Providing sales leadership and experience on large, complex sales opportunities

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent experience
  • Experience of selling IT Solutions
  • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills
  • Highly developed planning and organisation skills
  • Driven by achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and can demonstrate a track record in this area
  • Ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
  • World-class customer management and strategic selling skills to enhance the success of our customers’ business and the growth of Dell
