The Global Sales Learning & Enablement organization is seeking a highly motivated person to fill a training role on the APJ Commercial Sales Field Sales Enablement team based out of Kawasaki delivering Selling Skills and Product & Solutions training to Dell badged sales people in Japan. The ideal candidate is passionate about people development and has an interest in adult learning methodologies and educational best practices. The candidate needs to have the ability to build strong relationships across organizations as well as at senior management level from Sales, Sales Support, Marketing, HR, etc. The candidate needs to have proven track record of achieving result through others.

  • Lead quarterly training needs analysis and creation of quarterly training calendar for Japan team. Ensure trainings are aligned with local business objectives and developmental needs of sales teams. Leverage Dell Technologies Sales University results and learning paths to align developmental needs.
  • Responsible for the delivery of sales training; new hire on-boarding, selling skills for inside and outside sales, account planning, acceleration trainings and entry level technical training
  • Conducts training in classroom as well as virtually
  • Provide on-going consultation on selling skills as well as product/solution knowledge
  • Lead and engage with the Sales leaders, Business Unit leaders, Marketing, HR and Global Sales Learning & Enablement to ensure the coordination, organization and deployment of the required trainings for the sales teams which aligns to global curriculum. Includes:
    • Product and Solution trainings
    • Vendor led trainings
    • Specialist trainings
    • Deployment and follow up of trainings programs:
      • Dell Technologies Sales University (DTSU) programs including SalesU Start for new hire onboarding and SalesU Now for sellers and managers
      • Any acceleration programs, eg ISR to AE acceleration
      • Any business requests
      • Training effectiveness performance review.
  • Schedule/Attend relevant meetings to communicate enablement strategy and status of training programs to Commercial leadership team
