Role Overview

Senior Security Engineers will support a sales team in new client acquisition and revenue growth within existing clients. Senior Security Engineer will report to the Senior Manager of Sales Engineering. Senior Security Engineers will deliver product presentations, discussion and demonstrations internally and externally on all relevant Secureworks solutions. They will coordinate with Product Marketing, Product Management and Sales Leadership to ensure that Secureworks solutions are timely, appropriate and supported by strong sales tools.

Role Responsibilities

- Engage in advanced security architecture discussion with C-level suite

- Present Secureworks services from a technical and business perspective

- Perform demonstrations of Secureworks technology 

- Analyze client needs and design solutions accordingly   

- Act as primary point of escalation of technical issues for the Sales team

- Be a subject matter expert in Secureworks services

- Travel 50% of the time may be required depending on territory geo

As a Managed Security Services Provider, Secureworks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as ISO 27002 and NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.

Requirements

-  At least 5 years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Compliance or Security Consulting role

-  5+ years or applicable network security and information security experience 

-  Expert knowledge of security architecture design and data flow

-  Expertise with market leading security technologies (IDP, NGFW, WAF, EDR and SIEM)

-  Strong presentation skills in concert with effective public speaking background

-  Deep knowledge of GRC (PCI, HIPPA, ISO, NIST, GDPR, FISMA, HiTrust) security frameworks and controls

-  Complete understanding of adversarial threat testing and security risk assessment

Preferences

- 2 or more certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, QSA, CEH, AWS

- Good knowledge of AI and Advanced Analytics

- Industry knowledge of IOT, ICS, OT and SCADA environments

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
