The Principal Product Engineer will be responsible to work with enterprise teams to assess, define and guide to build strong authentication and authorization security framework, extendable to Enterprise Applications, Web applications, API’s, microservices architectures, SaaS solutions etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal teams to define authentication and authorization strategy and roadmap
  • Act as a technical security subject matter expert, thought leader to design and implement enhanced authentication and authorization services for modern application architectures
  • Define, standardize security guidelines/standards for authentication and authorization security frameworks used by modern API’s based architectures
  • Actively participate in any development or program efforts related to Identity & Access Management through hands-on collaboration and engagement
  • Communicates security risks and solutions to business partners and technology teams across the organization
  • Research, design, and advocate new technologies, standards, or methodologies that will strengthen our security posture, reduce our risk exposure, and improve our overall user experience
  • Review and update authentication and authorization polices, standards and procedures to raise the maturity of the program

Required Skills/Experiences:

  • Leverage industry best practices and technologies to design secure identify access management solutions for complex cloud-based applications, IoT platforms and applications
  • Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth/OIDC and other authentication modes
  • Experience in designing, implementing and delivering high standard authentication and authorization security solutions in complex environments
  • Expertise in performing Threat Modeling, generating security architectural requirements to software development and product teams
  • Customer focused mindset and is capable of flexing and delivering security solutions to meet the business needs by still achieving the high security standards
  • Growth mindset who is passionate to learn and use new/emerging technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a MUST

Desired Skills/Experiences:

  • 6+ years of full-time dedicated experience leading the implementation of Identity Access Management, Authentication and Authorization Services frameworks in complex environments.
  • Understanding of Industry trends in security solutions related to cloud technologies and authentication and authorization services
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field or equivalent experience
  • One or More technical security certifications is a Plus.
    • CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
    • CCSP – Certified Cloud Security Professional
    • CSSLP – Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional
    • CISM – Certified Information Security Manager
    • CSEC- SANS CIAC Security Essentials
