Within Public Sector/specialty public banks as Sparkassen nationwide, we are looking for an External Account Executive to join our top-caliber Sales team in Germany.

Key responsibilities:

Your objective will be to drive growth across a portfolio of development or acquisition public institutions to achieve targets. You will be expected to build strong customer relationships and keep abreast of market trends to develop and execute strategies that deliver high value solution focused sales. The role will involve:

  • Responsible for the management of opportunities, increasing account penetration, customer satisfaction and sales growth within assigned accounts of German Public Sector,
  • Selling Dell’s portfolio of technology solutions; server, storage, networking, software, security and managed services
  • Leading territory or regional account management, including account planning and sales forecasting and engaging cross-functional resources
  • Advising customers on strategic business and technology solutions
  • Providing sales leadership and experience on large, complex sales opportunities

Essential requirements:

  • Extensive experience of selling one or more of the following technology solutions; server, storage, networking, software, security and managed services for Sparkassen nationwide in Germany, mainly northern Germany
  • Deep expertise of trends that impact on Dell’s customers
  • Public Customer experience with good knowledge in public procurement regulations
  • Effective presentation, negotiation and executive relationship-building skills
  • Fluency in English

Desirable requirements:

  • Additional language skills English
  • Special knowledge of public market, especially within their own purchase network for Sparkassen, as well as public Know-How in general in order do server end customer with typical vertical solutions
