This position defines the overall RSA solution for the customer and makes presentations on all aspects of company products and services. Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products and services to meet customer needs. Prepares detailed product specifications for the purpose of selling high end product and solutions. Conducts customer needs analysis. Provides project scoping. Coordinates internal specialists and inter-department activities. Assists sellers in creating demand for product. Requires a high degree of technical competency to respond to customer needs and to discuss product capabilities and applications with technical users/buyers. Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities and delivers high impact presentations leveraging strong technical skills.


  • Senior level sales engineer with expert understanding of our product and services portfolio
  • Support highly complex accounts
  • Gain access and manages relationships with executive level technical staff and decision makers
  • Follow Force Management Framework for selling enterprise/client products and services
  • Verify operability of highly complex product and service configuration within the customer’s environment
  • Verify roles and responsibilities required to support account team
  • Understand market and industry verticals data to provide thought leadership to position value of the solution Leverages third-party and/or the Channel to create and position the solution
  • Provide counsel across the account team in analyzing customer requirements and performing advanced systems integration and providing technical expertise to design and implement solution using breadth of our products and services
  • Qualify highly complex sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding
  • Presents the design and value of proposed solution and business case to customers, prospects and management at a senior, sometimes executive level

Key Activities

  • Deliver sales and technical pre-sales support to customers
  • Deliver product training and knowledge around the RSA products and solutions to customers, channel partners and technology partners
  • Host web presentations and online demonstrations to customers and internal sales teams
  • Support the local sales team
  • Develop customer facing product and solution demonstrations that can be replicated within the local SE teams
  • Support local channel partners
  • Provide support to marketing events within the territory

Primary Requirements and Skills

  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security
  • General knowledge of IT infrastructure, security operations, and enterprise security principals; may have experience as an architect, application developer, network operations, or systems administrator
  • Ability to solve technical problems independently
  • Takes immediate action to overcome obstacles
  • Persuasive in front of customers
  • Able to sustain a positive attitude and work effort when faced with adversity
  • Team player
