We also work closely with Sales and Global Services colleagues to develop strategic account growth plans, and to identify and pursue sales opportunities.  

Key Responsibilities

An opportunity exists to join Dell’s Managed Service Organization. Managed Services is a growing service within Dell Technologies. We provide high quality service to support our core products.  The role would be supporting a leading car manufacturer. Working with a number of different platforms, your role would be to ensure that the day to day operations and Service Level Agreements are met. We are also looking for people who think outside the box and have a proactive attitude.

  • Take a lead role in managing and supporting the customer’s storage environment (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
  • Performs necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with Dell EMC and customer's change management policies.
  • Provide proactive recommendations to the customer for improving storage operations.
  • Develops and maintains direct customer and broader service delivery relationships.
  • Active involvement in delivery management process improvements
  • Required to support and instruct less experienced co-workers, through classroom training sessions or on-the-job mentoring.
  • Must participate in on-call activities


Essential Requirements

  • Technical college degree with 8+ years’ experience
  • Fluency in German (both written and verbal)
  • Strong operational knowledge of file or block storage or one or more of the following core technologies: Isilon, Netapp 7mode/C Dot, IBM SVC, Compellent
  • Knowledge of storage array performance analysis\design.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Strong communication, presentation and cross functional skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills.


Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of VMware products vRO, vRA and vROPS.
  • Scripting \ Programming knowledge an advantage (Java, Python)
  • Awareness of DevOps or Agile an advantage
  • ITIL Certification preferred
