We are looking for a talented Program Manager to drive key initiatives with our Product and Engineering teams. The primary responsibility of the Program Manager is to take overall ownership for the success of programs, manage key projects, and provide a holistic view of program activities. In this role, your goal will be to keep the team productive and organized by building consensus, knocking down barriers, and managing to an aggressive, yet realistic schedule; facilitating and fostering communication within and across teams; effectively managing risk and change; anticipating what might fall through the cracks, and taking a proactive approach to ensuring things run smoothly and productively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the product and engineering leadership team to effectively identify areas of opportunity and maximize organizational success

  • Manage cross-functional programs through a positive, fact-based approach

  • Demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems with tenacity

  • Ability to work comfortably in ambiguous situations and bring clarity to the project teams

  • Prepare and present program and project status to key stakeholders at regular intervals, including C-level executives

  • Assist theProgram Management team with enhancing its PMO best practices

  • Orchestrate and communicate a shared understanding of strategic direction and objectives into multiple domains

  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate risk exposure at all levels

  • Conduct program governance and effective change management

  • Lead efforts to resolve program issues, escalations, and prioritization conflicts by establishing clear decision points and resolution paths

  • Interact confidently and positively in meetings with individual technical contributors, product managers, and cross-functional leaders (technology and business)

  • Mentor individuals in best practices and support professional development 

  • Collaborate with and support fellow Program Managers

  • Exude a continuous improvement mindset

Experience/Skills Required

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities

  • Sense of accountability and ownership

  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • 6+ years of technical program management experience

  • 2+ years of solution management experience for infrastructure, software, hosting, or data services (SaaS experience)

  • Thorough understanding of the SDLC and the ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies

  • Proven experience in effective stakeholder, risk, and communication management

  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike

  • A service oriented minded person who "Thinks Customer"

  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and relationship building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment

  • Experience as a Project Manager or Product Manager in a SaaS based product company is a big plus.
