Velocloud Chennai, India team is seeking a passionate, strong software engineer to participate in the design and implementation of the next generation SD-WAN product portfolio. We are searching for a talented, dynamic, hands-on Developers for our SD-WAN core development team. Our team looks for individuals who embody our values of humility, empathy, collaboration above isolationism, respectfulness, trustworthiness, and good-natured fun. You will be part of a high visibility development team of highly skilled engineers and product managers on the design, development and delivery of projects in SD-WAN and play a key role in ensuring the best possible customer experience.

Responsibilities

Design of subsystems and understands impact across products and contributes in defining vision for their technical area.

Develops innovative ideas and solutions for complex problems and projects.

Performs independent analysis of a complex workload and initiates performance improvements in one or more subsystems.

May contribute to company patent portfolio and contributes to publications

Ensure project clarity with all stakeholders and team members.

Participates in recruiting and generating leads.

Suggests improvement to business processes and policies to solve problems and get things done.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of proven software development skills in C with emphasis on Multi-threaded network programming.
  • Hands on experience in software architect, design and development on Network Security Protocols(IPSec/IKE) or PKI on Linux OS.
  • Exposure to development on cryptography, security and data compression algorithms is an added advantage.
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Master degree in Computer Science/Electrical or Electronics is a must.
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills on Linux OS.
  • Self-driven, self-motivated individual with passion to perform multiple/concurrent tasks within deadlines in a dynamic environment.
