Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees teams responsible for moderately large or complex network security projects or engagements
  • Manages various projects, both technical and non-technical
  • Manages technical project teams that are assessing or implementing security related technology, work cross-functionally with other leads in IT or business functions to meet project milestones and service levels
  • Manages the budget, assures timeline compliance and develops staffing models
  • Makes decisions on operating procedures, analytical approaches and workflow
  • Held accountable for all people-management activities for subordinate staff and responsible for establishing goals and objectives for the department
  • Continuous improves information security policies and practices
  • Liaises with other departments regarding cost analysis chargebacks and analyzes the value obtained from all suppliers
  • Responsible for metrics and data inputs to P&L    
  • Identifies and negotiates for complex security services offered by solution vendors that are sound technically and from a business perspective
  • Communicates information security policy and best security practices to a wide range of audiences

Essential Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in managing large teams
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong technical skills (IT systems)
  • Strong analytical skills in evaluating applicable requirements and responding with quality technical specifications and solutions.
  • Strong skills in negotiating timelines and project requirements and building consensus 

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in running multifunctional and remote teams
  • Experience running a large security or NOC team
  • Deep understanding of information security and its relationship with the business
  • Experience interacting with senior level management in a large organization
  • Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA.
