Senior Software Engineer (Power Protect Central, Beer Sheva)

Ready to develop your career in a truly global company?  Within CDR (Cloud Disaster Recovery) at Dell, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Beer Sheva.

We're developing the next generation Data Protection platform, for the Data Protection Division, built on top of state-of-the-art technology stack. You'll be working with multiple cloud vendors (AWS, AZURE) developing a technology/product for backup & recovery of Virtual Machines.

We work in large scale agile methodologies spread over the globe, where each scrum team responsibilities are spread on the entire technology stack and is fully capable of shipping a finalized feature on its own.

Skills and requirements:

  • At least 4 years of extensive development in Java
  • Computer Science degree or related from a top university
  • Experience with development of distributed system.
  • Experience with Java server-side programing (Maven, Spring Framework, Hibernate) and RESTful architecture.
  • Familiar with multi-threaded programming.
  • Be highly motivated and maintain a positive, “can-do” attitude in a fast-moving environment

It’s even better if you’re: 

  • Knowledgeable with AWS, Azure
  • Understanding agile principles and its values
  • Experienced with HTML, JavaScript, Angular, CSS
  • Have a cool DIY project to show off
