Product Security Program Manager – Process Optimization & Education

We are currently seeking a Program Manager to join Dell’s PSIRT to educate internal customers such as engineering, customer support and vulnerability response champions about Dell’s vulnerability management practice.  This person will develop, maintain, and re-vamp all PSIRT related content including guidance, how-to’s, and knowledge base articles as we evolve and mature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of Product and Application security awareness and training strategy focusing on PSIRT
  • Create and ensure PSIRT materials communicate and reinforce our security standards, enabling our engineering teams to understand and adhere to them
  • Build PSIRT subject matter expertise, creating and maintaining process documentation and guides, how-to’s and procedural documentation
  • Create and maintain educational content for Vulnerability Response Champions
  • Deliver education sessions to various audiences across multiple global time zones
  • Assist business partners in addressing their specific PSIRT training and/or job role training requirements by identifying and sharing appropriate materials
  • Drive for the consistency and standardization of all defined PSIRT processes
  • Identify and implement opportunities for PSIRT process improvements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Risk Management, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of related experience, specifically in Product & Application Security, Security Operations, PSIRT, and/or Incident Response (CSIRT)
  • Experience implementing security and incident management processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, with focus on grammar, readability, and usability
  • Ability to teach to various skill levels in across multiple global time zones
  • Ability to prioritize projects, tasks and deliverables and manage dynamic priorities
  • Ability to drive moderately complex, cross-organizational initiatives through the influencing of and negotiation with stakeholders who at times may hold competing priorities
  • Results-driven and accountability-minded


  • Experience creating educational training materials related to PSIRT
  • Experience with educational training products/learning platforms such as LinkedIn Learning, PluralSight a plus
